I was born and raised in Massachusetts and received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. I’ve always known that I wanted a career where I could end each day feeling like I had personally helped someone.
During college, I completed my internship in case management at a residential group home for children and young adults with developmental disabilities. Upon graduation, I began working in behavioral development services, spending my days in the classroom with young students on the autism spectrum. I will always remember those years as uniquely fulfilling as I learned important lessons in compassion, patience, and most importantly, never giving up when people are relying on you. I found a special passion in working with others and witnessing them recognize their own capacity for resilience.
Life happens, and after some company changes, I made the difficult decision to leave the Psychology field altogether. I was very happy to find that the title industry opened up an entirely new world of people I could help, this time in navigating unfamiliar transactions. In 2015 I began working in the REO department of a national title and settlement provider headquartered in Rhode Island. Within a year I took on the role of a Purchase closer, and within another year was given an opportunity in their Post Closing department where I was soon promoted to the department manager.
It was in this role that I had the opportunity to utilize my strengths in communication to build relationships with our clients and borrowers. I’m so grateful for that role and the challenges that were presented – I was forced to think outside the box every single day. That role put me in a position where there could be no excuses and there was no option, or desire, to pass the buck.
After five years in that role, I wanted to challenge myself to learn something new. I had the opportunity of collaborating with Holler Law Firm in the past and heard only amazing things from their employees.
I went through a series of conversations with Josh, George, and Rosa before joining, and it became crystal clear to me what was most important to Holler Law Firm: the people. I’m so excited to be here and to be able to contribute to, learn from, and grow with such a talented group.
